Total Points Tournament Club

What is Bridge Olympics?
- Bridge Olympics is team event where you form teams of
4 people (minimum,) to 8 people (maximum,) with you friends and register with
Total Points Tournament Club. You do NOT need citizenship to play for a
particular nation but you must have permission of team captain to join team
after team is register. No limit to number of teams for each country.
- Teams "send" 4 players to compete in each event. We
award medals for individual AND team placings in each event and for overall
placement. Statistics for each event we post on website.
Who is eligible?
- All BBO players but you MUST register you team or join
United Nations team.
How to register
- Fill in form below. If you need additional players to
fill in you team it is ok to leave last 4 boxes blank. You need minimum of 4
players to register a team. Name 1 is team captain and you MUST include valid
email address. We hold info session for team captains in near future.

Responsibility of Team Captain
- Team Captain is official contact with Total Points
Tournament Club and this person need gather email addresses of all team
members and is responsible to communicate with team members. So please do not
accept team leadership if you no care to communicate with fellow team members
Olympic Events - 22 & 23 November, 2003
- 4 events - each team send 4 players to each event. In
event team no ability to send 4 people then TD of event may assign sub(s) to
represent a team.
- Events 1, 2, 3, and 4 on 22 November Saturday 6pm, 22
November Saturday 9pm, 23 November Sunday 2pm and 23 November Sunday 6pm.
All events in eastern standard time (est.)
- Top 4 teams and top 4 individual Olympians compete in
Olympic Finals on Sunday, 30 November 2003 at 2pm est in regular knock
out tournament. To compete in Finals you must play in one of events on 22 or
23 of November.

- Olympic Finals - 2pm est Sunday 30 November in
Total Points Club
- Top 4 teams and individuals determine by earning points in Events 1, 2, 3,
or 4
- You MUST play in minimum of 1 event to play in finals
- All registered team members who qualify may play in
Finals
- (This is why 8 person teams is advantage)
Adding players to existing team
- To join an existing team you must ask Team Captain to
send email to Olympic Coordinator asking to add you to team roster.
